Bihar NEET Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2024
• The candidate needs to be a resident of Bihar and must have completed their 11th and 12th grades at a school in Bihar.

Exceptions to the above rule are as follows:

1. A candidate who has finished their studies in a state other than Bihar, but whose parents are residents of Bihar.
2. A candidate with parents working for the Bihar Government.
3. A candidate whose parents are working for the Central Government and are presently based in Bihar.

State Merit List

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will collaborate with BCECEB to publish the merit list for NEET 2024. Step 1: Registration

• In order to enroll for Bihar NEET 2024 counseling, applicants need to visit the BCECEB’s official website.
• A unique ‘Activation Code’ will be dispatched to the mobile number and email address on file.
• An ‘Activation Code’ will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID
• Please utilize this code to activate your account and then proceed with completing the application form.
• The email address used during registration will serve as the user ID for the account.
• The candidate should make sure to save the password for future reference.

Step 2: Personal Information

• In this part, the applicant is required to provide information like the father’s name, mother’s name, contact details, etc.
• Once all the steps have been completed, it is recommended that candidates save the application form as a draft.

Step 3: Uploading a photograph and signature

In order to progress, the candidate must submit scanned images of the following:

• A passport-sized photo is required with a label containing the candidate’s name and the date it was taken at the bottom.
• Please sign your full name in lowercase letters, not in capitals.

• Payment through a bank challan: By selecting this option, the candidate can pay the counseling fee at any branch before the deadline. The candidate must print the bank challan and submit it along with the counseling fee. The online payment status will be updated within 24 hours.
• Online payment: When selecting this choice, candidates have the option to settle the counseling fee through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
