Undergraduate and graduate admissions for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy are managed through the centralized counselling process called AYUSH Counselling 2025.
AYUSH Counselling seeks to expedite the admissions process and make it easier to assign seats in AYUSH colleges around the country. All eligible candidates are assured of equal opportunity and transparency. The counselling process is conducted online, and potential clients are required to register and participate in the counselling rounds according to the scheduled timetable.

For Government Sector
The Ministry of Ayush handles counselling for admission to AIQ seats of Government/Government-aided Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani & Homoeopathy Institutes, National Institutes, central universities, and Deemed Universities.
For Private Sector
The relevant state authorities will conduct the counselling procedure for admission to AIQ seats in Private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy Institutes for UG and PG.

Types & Rounds of AYUSH Counselling 2025
• All India Quota (15%)
There are three online counselling rounds for All Indian Quota Counselling: Round 1, Round 2, and the Mop Up Round.
• Central Universities & National Institutes (100%)
Online counselling is offered to Central Universities and National Institutes in four stages: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Mop Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. AACCC conducts the first three rounds, or Rounds 1, 2, and 3, online. However, the Central University or National Institute in question will conduct the fourth round, which is known as the stray vacancy round. AACCC will provide the Central University or National Institute with the list of registered, eligible candidates for this round.
• Deemed University (100%)
Deemed University offers four rounds of online counselling: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and Stray Vacancy Round. In the first three rounds, AACCC will conduct the competition online. The list of registered, eligible candidates will be sent to the appropriate deemed universities by AACCC, but the deemed universities themselves will conduct the fourth round of names as a Stray Vacancy.
All UG/PG seats at recognized universities are available here, hence there is no need for a reservation mechanism.

Points to Remember for AYUSH Counselling 2025
- To take part in AACCC-UG Counselling, candidates must register on the AACCC’s official website (www.aaccc.gov.in).
- Please be aware that, depending on their category, candidates must pay refundable security deposits and non-refundable registration costs at the time of registration.
- A candidate forfeits their refundable security deposit if they withdraw from the seat or institution they were offered in the second round. Additionally, if the applicant declines or does not accept the seats offered in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round, the Refundable Security Deposit will be forfeited.
AYUSH Counselling Eligibility Criteria for UG Course
• A student must be at least 17 years old as of December 21, 2025;
• A medical student must have completed 12th grade from an accredited board with English, chemistry, and physics as their major subjects;
• A medical candidate must have passed the NEET Entrance Exam in 2025.

AYUSH Counselling Registration Process 2025
Step 1 – Visit Official Website
Go to the official website of the organization or authority that provides AYUSH counselling. This information is usually available on the official website of the Ministry of AYUSH or the appropriate state AYUSH body.
Step 2 – Online Registration
Look for the option or link for registration on the website. Click the registration link to start the registration process.
Step 3 – Fill Personal Details
Provide your name, date of birth, gender, category, contact details, and any other personal information that the registration form asks for.
Step 4 – Fill Academic Details
Enter the name of your institution or university, the specifics of your undergraduate studies, the year you graduated, and any other relevant details about your academic background.
Step 5 – Upload Documents
All of the documents specified in the registration form need to be uploaded as scanned copies. Make sure the documents follow the format and size requirements by checking them.
Step 6 – Pay Registration Fees
Pay any mandatory registration fees as mentioned on the website. Usually, many payment options, including credit/debit cards, net banking, and e-wallets, can be used to complete the transaction online.
Step 7 – Submission of Application
After completing the required fields and uploading the required files, check the registration form to ensure that the information is accurate. then submit the online application.
Step 8 – Acknowledgment
After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation or acknowledgment of your registration. This can appear as a registration number or an email confirmation.

Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)
• For government/government institutions, the general and OBC categories pay a charge of Rs. 1,000, while the SC/ST/PwD categories pay Rs. 5.00.
• All types of medical applicants must pay Rs. 1,000 to private colleges and deemed universities.
Money for Security (Refundable)
• The required security deposit at government and government-aided institutions is Rs. 10,000.
• The required security deposit at private colleges and deemed universities is Rs. 50,000.
