RUHS will oversee the Rajasthan NEET UG 2024 counselling for the academic year 2024-25. Scheduled to commence tentatively in August 2024, following the national-level NEET counselling, the state’s process will allocate 85% of seats for MBBS and BDS courses in Rajasthan. The online Rajasthan NEET counselling 2024 will entail approximately five to six rounds, with the final stage requiring institute reporting and document verification.

NEET 2024 took place on May 5, 2024, spanning 571 cities in India and abroad from 2 PM to 5.20 PM. The NEET results are expected to be announced on June 14, 2024. Candidates who achieve the NEET cutoff scores will qualify for participation in the Rajasthan NEET UG 2024 counselling.

Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Rajasthan NEET UG counseling are given below:

Applicants are required to be citizens of India and hold a domicile of the Rajasthan state. They need to have taken and successfully passed the NEET examination. Additionally, candidates must be at least 17 years old by the end of the year. To be eligible, they should have completed their Class 12 Board exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as mandatory subjects, achieving a minimum aggregate score of 50% for General category applicants, 40% for reserved categories, and 45% for physically challenged candidates in the unreserved category. Only individuals who have not enrolled in the assigned institutions or have not been allocated a seat will be allowed to register from Round 2 onwards.

Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2024 Registration

The announcement regarding the commencement of registration for the Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2024 will be made on the official website. Applicants are required to proceed and complete the registration form for Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2024. Please follow the steps provided below to successfully fill out the application form for Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2024:

  • Visit the official website of Rajasthan NEET 2024 counselling 
  • Click on the ‘Application Part-I’ link
  • Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘I Agree’ to proceed
  • Enter the NEET roll number, date of birth, marks obtained, and category, and validate
  • The registration credentials will be generated
  • Visit the home page and click on ‘Application – Part 2’
  • Enter the Registration ID and Password and click on ‘Login’
  • Then, in the Rajasthan MBBS/BDS 2024 application form, enter the personal, academic, contact and other details
  • Upload the passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and other required documents.
  • Pay the Rajasthan MBBS application fee online using credit/debit cards or net banking.
  • Please double-check all the information and create several duplicates for future reference.

Depositing the registration fee:

  • Applicants interested in joining the Rajasthan NEET counseling for MBBS course admissions in 2024 are required to submit a registration fee.
  • The application fee is Rs. 2,000 for candidates in the General category, and Rs. 1,200 for candidates in the SC, ST, ST-STA categories.

Declaration of State Merit List

After the registration for Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2024, the counselling authority will publish the state merit list. This list will feature the eligible candidates for Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling 2024, including their names, Roll Number, All India Rank, and State Rank.

Choice filling:

In order to access the choice filling form, candidates are required to submit the registration fee, except for those applying exclusively for BDS courses. Please proceed with the steps outlined below to successfully fill out the choice filling form.

  • Login using SSO credentials
  • Under the ‘Citizen’ tab, click ‘H.T.E.’
  • In the login window, choose the following from the drop-down
    • Organization: Directorate of Medical Education (D.M.E.)
    • Application: NEET UG (Medical/dental) Admission 2024
  • Click on ‘Continue’
  • Now click on ‘Fill Choice Form’
  • Enter application ID, date of birth, registered mobile number and captcha
  • Click on ‘Search’
  • Choose the colleges in the order of preference
  • To lock and submit the final choices, click on ‘Save’
  • Download the registration fee receipt for future reference

Aspirants are able to access the allocation list from the previous year corresponding to a specific ranking by following the provided link. This will assist them in making informed decisions about their preferred college and course selections.

Document verification and confirmation of admission:

In order to secure admission, the candidate must visit SMS College in Jaipur or the assigned college for document verification. Failure to appear within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of their admission.

  • Allotment Letter
  • Mark sheet of 10+2 (senior school certificate examination) or its equivalent
  • Date of Birth Certificate: 10th class mark sheet/certificate or any other equivalent certificate showing the date of birth
  • Mark sheet of secondary examination (10th class)
  • Mark sheets of Class 11 bearing Biology as one of the subjects (if passed in more than one attempt, all mark sheets are required)
  • Mark sheets of Class 12 bearing Biology as one of the subjects (if passed in more than one attempt, all mark sheets are required)
  • Certificate/ Document providing your eligibility as selected by you at the time of filling online application form- (I to XI) – as given under serial 3 under other eligibility criteria in the information booklet
  • Copy of photo ID (driving licence / PAN card / Voter ID / Govt. or PSU card / School ID card / 12th class examination admit card / Aadhaar card)
  • Valid Caste certificate, sub-category certificate, if applicable
  • Domicile certificate, if applicable
  • 4 Passport size photo same as affixed on the application form
  • Valid PwD certificate issued by 16 centres designated by MCC for NEET 2024, if applicable
  • Valid WDP / WPP certificates, if applicable
  • Valid EWS certificate, if applicable
  • Bond / Bank Guarantee as per the applicable Proforma
  • Proof regarding family annual income less than INR 2.5 lakh, if applicable
